Our future generation platform is in closed beta. Please request to participate. During the beta, expect some rough edges, broken windows overlooking blue sky vistas, and regularly scheduled changes.

Developer tools

In addition to new features like app hosting, data storage with tables, functions, and triggers, the next generation platform has a new set of developer tools that make it faster, easier, and more pleasant to build Slack apps.

Command Line Interface

The command line interface is meant to make the process of creating new apps, running them, and deploying them easier. Binaries are available for macOS and Windows.

Read our CLI guide here.

While our SDK is not yet open source, it's built right into the CLI and into the Deno runtime when you deploy through slack.

More detailed documentation about the SDK itself is still to come.
