Data retention policy
Fluincy only transmits data to Slack and does not receive any data from Slack. We do not retain any data related to our users’ Slack workspace, ensuring that no Slack-related information is stored within our systems. The data sent to Slack is ephemeral and is used solely for the purpose of facilitating communication between Fluincy and Slack.
Data archiving and removal policy
Since Fluincy does not store any data related to Slack, there is no data to be removed from our systems. However, any data shared via Slack is subject to Slack’s own data retention policies. We encourage users to review Slack’s privacy and data retention policies for information on how Slack manages and deletes data.
Data storage policy
As Fluincy does not store any Slack data, there are no storage considerations required within our systems for data originating from Slack. All interactions with Slack are conducted in real-time and are not persisted within Fluincy’s infrastructure.

Data deletion request procedure
At Fluincy, we take data privacy seriously and are committed to respecting the rights of our users, including their right to have their personal data deleted. When we receive a data deletion request, our procedure is as follows:
1. Acknowledgment of Request: Upon receiving a data deletion request, we promptly acknowledge receipt of the request to the user, confirming that we have received their request and that it is being processed.
2. Verification: We verify the identity of the individual making the request to ensure that the data deletion request is legitimate and authorized.
3. Data Deletion: Once the request has been verified, we proceed with deleting all requested data from our systems. This includes removing any associated backups and ensuring that the data is permanently erased.
4. Confirmation: After the data has been deleted, we provide the user with a confirmation that their data has been successfully deleted from our systems.
5. Timeline: We aim to complete the entire process and delete all requested data within 24 hours of receiving the request.
